Trial & cancellation
Everything you need to know about the 14-day trial, cancelling, and reactivating a pixel.
How the trial works
- Every new pixel subscription (Standard or Pro) includes a 14-day trial.
- Card collected at sign-up but $0 charged today. Card is authorized so the platform can charge automatically when the trial ends.
- Day 11: warning email reminding you of the upcoming charge.
- Day 14: trial converts to paid. Card charged for the first month (or year if you picked yearly).
Cancelling
- Dashboard → pixel detail → Settings tab → scroll to Danger zone.
- Click Cancel subscription. Confirm.
- Subscription is marked "cancel at period end". The pixel stays active until your current billing period ends.
- At period end: pixel goes inactive. Events return 403. The pixel row stays in your dashboard for 90 days, then it's deleted.
During trial: cancelling immediately stops billing — you won't be charged at all. Cancel any time before day 14.
Reactivating
- Within the cancel window (between cancel click and period end): click Resume subscription in the same dashboard area. No-op, billing continues normally.
- After the pixel goes inactive: create a new pixel with the same domain. Reuse the same install snippet on your site (the script tag stays valid as long as the pixel exists).
- You don't get a fresh trial on reactivation — same email + same domain → no new trial. (Anti-abuse measure.)
Downgrading / upgrading
- From the pixel detail → Billing card → click Change plan.
- Pick the new plan. Stripe prorates the difference automatically.
- Upgrade fires immediately and unlocks the new event cap.
- Downgrade applies at the next renewal — current period keeps the higher cap.
